It’s been a while since we released Buni Island mainnet and received tremendous feedback & support from players around the globe. As we always strive to provide a better gaming experience and welcome new ideas, there are a couple of things that we want to improve next.
Provide a handy tool for users who don’t have time to collect the gold every day. Many players struggle to log in to the game all day to collect newly generated gold, or they just can’t do it while they’re sleeping. This task is quite repetitive and boring yet very important because it affects your gold production rate. Similar to hiring another player to open the game and collect gold and split the earnings, we provide an easy tool that does just that automatically and at a reasonable cost.
Provide a way for players to interact with each other. Interaction between players is what keeps the game more fun and engaging, that’s exactly what one thing missing in Buni Island now.
Auto gold collection tool
For each Buni House, a player can turn on the auto-collection mode. Then, the collection will occur every 2~2.5 hours approximately.
Each time the collection happens, you’ll be charged a certain amount of BUNI. This fee will not be added up to the total reward pool but will be burnt immediately. You need to have enough BUNI in your in-game balance for this feature to function. The cost depends on the house’s level as in the table below:

This feature also creates buy demand for BUNI and reduces BUNI’s supply immediately.
Steal/protect gold from another player
Storage
Storage is a default construction in the main Island that holds all of your collected Gold, or it is exactly the same as your Gold’s balance. It also has levels, the higher level, the more Gold can be stored. If the storage is full, you cannot collect more Gold either manually or automatically. You have to upgrade your storage level or simply spend your Gold instead of storing it.

Steal/protect gold
You can set up a team of 3 Bunicorns and go to another player’s main island and steal a part of the Gold in their storage. You can steal/be stolen a maximum of 3 times per day. You can also set up another team of 3 Bunicorns to defend your storage from other players. Similar to the PvP battle, only Bunicorn level 15 and above can join these teams.
The defending team can be in a Buni House at the same time. However, you have to remove your Bunicorn out of Buni House before letting it join the attacking team.
Each Bunicorn will have an additional attribute called capacity representing the max amount of Gold that a Bunicorn can carry. After the attacking battle, each survival Bunicorn will steal the Gold corresponding to its capacity from the target storage, and bring it back home. If a Bunicorn died in the battle, it cannot steal any Gold. If all your team is defeated, you won’t lose anything.
You cannot choose which player to visit at the moment, but the target will be selected randomly. However, you’ll be able to see which one stole your gold in the last 3 days and go to his exact house and steal them back. This revenge feature will cost you 150 BUR. This fee is subject to change in the future.
If you have a strong Bunicorn team, you can earn a lot of gold without building the Buni House as well.
Future updates
There will be a world map showing all the islands on the Buniland planet. Each player will have their own coordinate.
To attack another player, a Bunicorn team will have to march from their island to the target island. The marching time depends on the distance between the 2 islands and the speed of their Bunicorn team.
Let’s say it takes 5 hours for an attacking team to go from their island to the target island, the defending player will be alerted with a notification about the incoming team. The defending player can prepare for the attack with a good Bunicorn team or either spend all their gold in the storage or even buy some kind of shield to protect their island.
If you’re living too close with a strong opponent and being attacked frequently, you might possibly want to pay a fee to relocate yourself to another random place or buy a specific land on the planet.
To even encourage user interaction more, we will enable guild modes so different players can join the attacks together or ask for somebody to help.
