Not sure if this project has been abandoned, which is too bad, since it looks great.

There's a bug when you are blending layers that don't have borders. A workaround is to set a border on all of your elements. If you don't want the borders blended, you can disable (but don't delete) the border. This bug doesn't appear to impact text elements.
