Pokerstars now detects TexasSolver as forbidden software #132

I just want to let everybody know, that since recently the Pokerstars client detects TexasSolver (GUI version) as a help tool, that is not allowed to run parallel to the client. It is ok to have it on the machine installed, but it must not be running while the Pokerstars client is open.

While I never used it for current playing, it was easier to copy a game for analysis from Pokerstars Hand History Window. I guess other tools handle this by detecting the Pokerstars client running, and then disable certain features. But I have little hope that Pokerstars would allow that for an open source tool.

Pokerstars as well as most big poker sites ban anything that is unfair advantage in poker. Considering that exe name is texas solver no wonder that they detected it as solver.

Sorry to hear about the detection of TexasSolver by Pokerstars. It can be frustrating to have your tools restricted. However, it's great to know that you can still have the software installed on your machine, even if it's not running while the Pokerstars client is open.
