Using "Mood Boards" to guide customer decision making. #14

A recent project reminded me how important getting various aspects of a site's "look-n-feel" locked down BEFORE committing to any serious page layout or coding begins.

Mood boards (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mood_board) have been around forever. They are a great tool for helping to capture key aspects of a design. The concept is easily transferred to the digital world.

I've created a very simple mood board template in GIMP. If you don't use GIMP and use Photoshop, the process is similar and straight forward.

Yes, and I'll share the template as well. I proposed this topic to Liam at the last meeting. He asked me to post the idea here.
