Reverts burke/zeus#536

@doy resurrecting this, I will build it tonight or in the next few days and make sure it works and then release it!

There are a couple fixes to this that I'd like to get in before a release (bugs that came up while doing testing internally) - I'll make another pull request once this gets merged.

@doy sounds good, I'll merge this now and you can submit your PR and I'll build/test it once it's all ready to roll!
