Jeremy, unfortunately I don't have a lot of free time to figure with license. It will be glad to do it and someday I definetly should do it. If you have experience with it please provide some links to video/articles about it. I as author of this script personally allow to you use this script in yourany free software project without any charge in case if you append reference to me. Thanks
Hi,
Some instructions on adding a license to a GitHub repo are at https://help.github.com/articles/adding-a-license-to-a-repository/ .
This isn't legal advice, but if your primary requirement is attribution (and you don't care about other requirements such as a share-alike provision), the MIT license sounds to me like it would meet your needs. (The GitHub instructions I linked should allow you to choose the MIT license.)
Hope this helps, let me know if anything is unclear. :)
Thanks, I will take a look
Hi, any news on this?
No news. Probably will take a look from 6-12 months from current point. Currently have no time for it unfortunatrly and no real ugency for it. And currently all my public projects in bitbucket and github is "unlicensed software"
Hi, any chance you could license this repo under a free software license? (Anything compatible with GPLv3+ would be ideal.) I'm hoping to utilize this script in a free software project I work on, but the current non-free license precludes that.
Cheers!
