Hello! Very nice applet! Works great in Kubuntu. But I wonder if it is possible to make graphics like in classical applet from gnome 2 and now 3. I really loved them because I could see progress. Thank you!

Hi, thanks :)

Is it better now?

Pilleo commented 6 years ago

@burlog Well, I can see a lot of new options. I reinstalled it like it was said in your tutorial, but with your example or my settings, there is just an empty circle now, nothing changes at all. Maybe problem in some configs?

burlog commented 6 years ago

Can you try add remove the widget and add new one? I changed config a lot and it probably the issue.

@burlog It was the first thing I did, and after that I could see new options. But they still change nothing in the applet itself. Same thing for any panel and even desktop itself. Maybe I should delete some configs manually? After reboot it started to change the widget after manipulating with options. But... Plotter is useless atm. CPU load must have a constant scale. Otherwise if the load is not high without peeks, that it will automatically enlarge the scale and you will thing that cpu load is huge, while it is not. It is just a bigger scale. Also I could not make ram monitor useful with plotter. In my case the free space is always in the bottom... Any way to change the order? On a horizontal panel label takes half of the space available for a widget if it is plotter, so it is not usable.

Stumble upon this thread searching for solution to make use of a constant maximum in plotter. I made it work (at least in my current version which is from arch repos). In "PlotterMonitor.qml" I set autoRange to false (seems like it is true per default in the called plotter lib) and add "rangeMax: 1" (dont know why only 1 is working), you need to restart plasmashell
