Sending custom tokens while metamask is web3 provider gets stuck "pending" #2

I've run into this issue a couple times now while developing the Ching! PoS plugin and using the new plugin API. The first time, my transactions were pending for several days. I had to reinstall metamask and then all my pending transactions went through at the same time.
