Benjamin reports some issues with lagging that should be investigated and mitigated.

A bit more observation of when any lagging occurs and the symptoms when it occurs would be helpful.

Is the issue you observed related to something you are doing at the time?
How is the issue manifesting itself? (examples: slow display updates, navigating menus, changing Cubase tracks)

I tested the performance a bit more carefully and in the meantime I have the impression that my first quick perceptions didn't seem to be specific enough to support my further suggestions. Also the declaration of the constants ( which in JS are designed a bit different) are obviously no reason to worry about it further.

I'll leave this open for now. At one point I thought I found something, but I had misconfigured MIDI and created a loop. Luckily, Cubase 12 detects this and breaks the loop rather than hanging everything.

At some point, this will either be addressed or closed.
