What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.typing in espn.com the website gives the "The connection was reset" error
screen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
See above. Output is "The connection was reset" screen. the only solution
at this time is to temporarily disable peerblock, then re-enable it once
done on the site.

What version of PeerBlock are you using? On what operating system? 32- or
64-bit?

I had the latest stable version. i just updated to the beta build r223, but
it still gives me the same error.

Please provide any additional information below. Make sure to attach
peerblock.log and/or any screenshots that would help explain your problem.

This is not PeerBlock's problem. It's the lists you have that contain ESPN's
IP. Just
use Allow HTTTP or add ESPN's IP to the permallow list.

Glad XhmikosR was able to point you in the right direction.

I'm closing this bug as "Invalid", since PeerBlock was actually doing what it
was
supposed to and blocking an IP you told it to block...

i didnt tell it to block that ip adress so my guess the ip adress is in the
database

Yeah, sorry, I meant that PeerBlock is correctly blocking whatever IP addresses
are
in the lists you told it to use. =;) We don't actually author any of these
lists
ourselves, as per our "Why is 'Some Company or Site' Blocked?" FAQ:
