In the Atom beta channel atom-space-pen-views will have deprecated calls which the terminal uses.
While Terminus is facing this issue and because of inherited security issues with atom-space-pen-views dependencies being vulnerable to attack, and because term.js also being unmaintained like the atom-space-pen-views also is, we decided to retire Terminus.
I personally dont have the time anymore to dedicate to Terminus and learning the required skills to maintain or re-write it.
Besides x-terminal is modern and based on all maintained dependencies and technologies.
So my question to @Fred-Barclay is, what do you plan todo when this project fails to work with future versions of Atom?
