Roadworks - Import from SVV (Possibilities for later: feedback from users / check_date functionality) #93

Can we start looking into this ticket now? From #84

  1. Harvesting data from official data sharing for roadworks: https://git.vegvesen.no/projects/DATEX2/repos/datex2-spesifications/browse/3.1 (Official Norwegian page: https://www.vegvesen.no/om-oss/om-organisasjonen/apne-data/et-utvalg-apne-data/datex/ and EU page: https://www.datex2.eu/ ). The data source: https://dataut.vegvesen.no/en/dataset/trafikkmeldinger

I guess the big issue here is to filter out what is relevant, on what road/ferry/bridge is possible to use by cyclists, and what to do with the data.

  1. First step is to get access to the data, look into it and se what is possible to use.
  2. Second step is to make use of the data similar to the tunnel information already in the solution (data fra OSM). I.e. make it visible on the map, but not having the data used by the routing engine. Suggested text on the icon, not knowing all scenarios here: "Data fra Statens vegvesen indikerer at veien/fergestrekning er stengt akkurat nå. Vennligst tilpass sykkelturen etter lokal skilting og dobbeltsjekk at rute er åpen på 175.no eller entur.no." (The latter two with links to each page.)
  3. Finally, and a new ticket, is to incorporate this into OpenTripPlanner. So, not part of this first development.

I've added the label "later" and I also modified the permissions so that you can do it yourself. Can you join the invite and test if you can change labels?

Sorry, this again is very hard and requires long term commitment and maintenance to get it into OTP. Do you have a long term budget for this?
