Is there some support for FTP at the moment?

Have you read the front page?  I quote:

"NOTE: BlazingStars  is currently on a development hiatus. This is because I do 
not currently have the time to maintain it, and no-one has stepped forward to 
help me continue development. Development may resume in the future, though I 
cannot be sure when. I think you for your support of the project; if anyone 
would like to take over active development or be a part of it, please contact 
me. "

Unless you or someone else comes forward (and there's been a few nibbles, but 
aside from one patch I haven't heard much), there will be no more development.  
As for FTP, support was always going to be limited anyways.  I simply CANNOT 
implement everything for FTP that I could for PokerStars, because the clients 
work differently.  It is a technical problem that I have no way of solving. 

Perhaps now's a good time to learn how to program if you've always had the 
itch. :-)

I read all of that, but I read ppl saying they get 'something' to work on FTP.. 
i get 'nothing'.....

I'm sorry, but I don't know what to tell you.  I just tried it, and the basics 
work just like they did before.  You are using the Racetrack layout, right?

No normal lay-out (vegas stylle/midnight etc.

I never worked for me.. so I don't know what 'the basics' are

Okay, well, if you're not using Racetrack, then it's not going to work for 
sure.  As to the "basics", I mean things like Fold/Bet/Call hotkeys and other 
table buttons like Leave Table, Fold to Any, etc., Window overlay, and probably 
a few others.  Auto-PFR will *not* work, ever, nor will anything else related 
to bet sizing.  In fact, you can't even use the pot increase/decrease keys, if 
I recall correctly.  That's 'the basics'.  

And if you really want me to help you with this, you have to give me more than 
'nothing'.  Does BlazingStars start?  Can you turn on the window overlay?  Does 
anything happen when you set up the hotkeys?  What's the output of the Console? 
 Are there any error messages?  If you want support on *any* software, provide 
as much detail as you can, and do some of the work yourself - tell the 
developer what happens when you try things, and do your best to narrow it to a 
specific issue.  Don't say 'nothing happens', say 'I try to start it and it 
crashes, and here's a crash log', or 'It starts, but when I try to use a 
[hotkey X], the program doesn't respond, although it does if I use [hotkey Y]'. 
 Screenshots are great.  

I really don't have a lot of time to give to this program, but you're going to 
increase your chances of me helping you if you meet me halfway here.

I appreciate your time and effort you put into this product. Don't get me 
wrong. I would love to help you, so let me try.

For PS everything besides the pot size betting % works. 

I'm running PS and FTP at the same time (maybe that's a problem?)
On FTP however I just switched to racetrack but I don't get any overlay like I 
get on stars (the yellow frame). I restarted blazingstars. It doesn't crash and 
stars runs ok (beside the pot %).

I added the console file.

Sorry if I irritate or annoy you steven. I know you put time and effort into 
this, for free. Do you play MTTs? If you want I can give you a free coaching 
lesson in return for all your efforts.

No, I'm sorry. I don't have a lot of time right now, with my Ph. D being in its 
final year, and I'm under a lot of pressure right now. I didn't mean to snap at 
you.  As to your issue, the problem is probably due to your using FTP and 
PokerStars at the same time. BlazingStars will only pick up on the first client 
it sees;  it was never meant to run with both at the same time, and if i 
remember the code correctly, it will always chooses PokerStars over FTP if both 
are open. Try just running FT and see if BlazingStars does anything for you.  

As for the offer, I appreciate it, but I don't play MTTs and truth be told, I 
barely have time to play poker at all any more. When I do, it's just micro cash 
games. :)

I closed PS, it seems to work on FTP now. I get the other screen as well.

I know you are really busy but could you not make a copy of this tool and call 
it blazingtilt or seomthing? Let it only recognize FTP? Not sure it will work, 
but that would be amazing. Just to have a tool to hit my mouse and make my 
hands fold/call would already be enough to make life so much easier.

I added the LOG file in case you need it.
