Hey guys, the only thing that has worked in the past is deleting the
preferences file or reinstalling the client (if memory serves). Truth is,
though one developer has done some work on BlazingStars recently, for the most
part it isn't under active development and I wouldn't expect a fix soon.
Sorry, I just don't have time (and I haven't for a couple of years now). I do
remain hopeful development will pick up again sometime in the future.

Hey Steven,

Thanks a lot for your answer, it seems that the solution you're talking about
is discussed in this thread
:http://code.google.com/p/blazingstars/issues/detail?id=93&sort=-opened&colspec=
ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Milestone%20Owner%20Summary%20Opened

I will try it tonight, and maybe write a script in order too process the
configuration file each time it's modified.

Blazing stars is such a useful program...hope someone picks up the
development of it. There was a poker stars update yesterday and since then
blazing stars has started pumping out that error. I am not very techie how
do I delete the preference file and reinstall the client? Also what do you
mean by client? So sorry I am a technical retard. Thanks again for all your
help :)

Hi,

The preference file is at this address :
/Users/myname/Library/Preferences/com.pokerstars.fr.user.ini

In order to reinstall the client you just have to drag and drop the pokerstars
application into the garbage and install the pokerstars client.

The client is customer part of Pokerstars: one client is installed on every
computer you want to play with.
