Currently when I click an event, it opens Calendar - when I've already set Fantastical as my default. Would be great if I could support the full calendar app I prefer!

Thanks for the proposal @zacdavies! Could you please elaborate what are you missing when then event is open in the Calendar app comparing to the Fantastical app?

macOS doesn't have unified "protocol" to do such things with calendar apps.

The maximum possible to reach in there - is to open the day of the event in the Fantastical app. More details https://flexibits.com/fantastical/help/integration-with-other-apps

Interesting, yeah I guess even that would be an improvement!
