Enable/Disable Ambiguous Characters in Passwords #900

Open andrewdmaclean opened 4 years ago

When creating passwords using the built-in generator, some characters can be ambiguous which causes errors when attempting to type out manually or pass onto another user in a different font (i.e. a lowercase "l" may be either an uppercase "L", a number "1", an uppercase "i", or a "O" may be a zero or an uppercase letter "O")

1Password has integrated this feature, and it would be amazing if it was possible in Buttercup.

I'd accept an option for this. Would need a PR over at our UI repo first. PRs welcome.

I would REALLY appreciate this. I get myselft constantly using differente passwords generators (which remove ambiguous characters) instead of using the Buttercup generator.
