iOS app no longer open offline vault #350

My WebDAV server has an issue recently and I discovered that trying to open the offline vault on iOS results in the app just crashing

Impact use case: I needed to check BC for a bank card PIN at shop checkout recently and - to compound problems - had ran out of mobile data so I couldn't pay for my shopping until a kind employee offered to hotspot his phone data so I could get online, open BC and access my PIN

I assume this regression (🤔) is V3 related and hope to see this functionality back ASAP 🙏

Offline mode isn't possible in the extension anymore. It may be via the Desktop application however. - https://github.com/buttercup/buttercup-browser-extension/issues/327#issuecomment-2018217360

Hope you're OK, and this helps rather than hinders your workload!

Regarding offline functionality, it would be useful to know expected behaviour in/on all platforms; and perhaps future plans..?

Aside, I suppose this issue's relevant to desktop and mobile so perhaps a new issue consolidating things belongs in core 🤷

Offline mode is already handled in core, but it requires substantial UI work to support. That's why it's not trivial and requires a decent amount of maintenance, which it hasn't received.

Mobile app has regressed and desktop hasn't had it yet. Both need it.

I'm doing alright thanks. Tired but limiting myself to what's healthy/practical:)

Hi, after enable the biometric login the app crashes unexpectedly and I am no longer able to use it, the screen shows just the buttercup logo and never opens. Is this issue related with what is happening to me? I am using IOs 17.4.

Still without a working Mac at the moment so I won't be able to address this for a week at least..
