I'm wondering if this project is still active. I am working on an implementation from scratch, featuring ES6, React, Webpack, Electron, and other new technologies:

perhaps @amilajack could be given maintenance access so his work over at https://github.com/amilajack/popcorn-desktop-experimental can be merged in?

@amilajack's code is very different from this. other design, other strategy.
