I feel like the issue of licensing Button Men hasn't been raised properly since James Ernest passed that over to Greater Than Games.

I also note, though, that some of the licensing has passed back to Crab Fragment Games.
Regarding whether Greater Than Games consider Button Men to be their game now, I think they probably did in 2021:

Maybe it would be useful for us to have a chat to Paul Bender.
Maybe https://crabfragmentlabs.com/cheapass-games would be useful too.
Also, from the newsletter:
"Who Are We, Anyway?
Cheapass Games and Crab Fragment Labs are really two sides of the same coin. James Ernest launched Crab Fragment as a creative outlet in 2019, after licensing the Cheapass line to Greater than Games.
But the sands of duty are shifting again, and responsibilities for the Cheapass catalog are returning slowly to this basement. This means that Crab Fragment Labs will likely become a section of cheapass.com, and not the other way around, before another year goes by."
From today's newsletter, more confirmation that Button Men will be returning to James Ernest's hands:
"Cheap Crabmeat Labs? Ass Fragment Games?
James Ernest and co. are in final talks with Greater Than Games to transfer ownership of the Cheapass catalog back to our basement. This means we will be doing a bunch of behind-the-scenes work over the next few weeks, as we restructure the website, combine the catalogs, and figure out how all this comes together."
and
"We’re working on new ideas for classic games like Button Men, Safari Jack, TimeLine, and many more."
I'm going to shoot James a direct email and let him know that we'd love to have a direct link back to wherever Button Men ends up having an official online presence. We'll see what he says.
For interest, http://www.cheapass.com and http://beatpeopleup.cheapass.com now redirect to https://crabfragmentlabs.com/cheapass-games.
Note that https://www.cheapass.com does not resolve, as far as I can tell.
In our footer attribution, we have
The links to https://cheapass.com and https://beatpeopleup.cheapass.com appear to not be live any more, so we need to update them.
Any suggestions on what we use instead?
