Plugin Publishing #75

I am not aware if there is a way of publishing a sketch app plugin with Sketch-Toolbox. Or how to enlist a plugin with Sketch-Toolbox.

There needs to be a process of publishing sketch app plugins with ease. For instance Sketch-Toolbox may start accepting github URLs and if url's point to a valid sketch app plugin, its added to the list. Or something else that does the same.

Thoughts?

This project is abandoned

Perhaps modify the reader.md to let people know?

Open an issue with the URL to your plugin or send a pull request here: https://github.com/sketchplugins/plugin-directory 👍

@avadhbsd I'd suggest integrating your plugin with Sketchpacks Relay.

It works seamlessly with github allowing you to serve releases and auto-updates in near real-time to Sketchpacks users.

The problem with Sketchpacks is it is so huge bulky and a big battery sucker. I would not suggest anyone use it.

equinusocio commented 7 years ago

@avadhbsd you can open it just for install/upgrading plugins..

adamkirkwood commented 7 years ago

@avadhbsd What version of Sketchpacks did you experience this issue with?

adamkirkwood commented 7 years ago

@avadhbsd I understand the battery usage concern and will investigate further. But as of right now, when Sketchpacks is idling, I don't see evidence of extreme battery consumption.

However the physical file size of the app isn't something we're too concerned about.
