What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch Soundflower
2. Set only 64ch Chanel on the Output Device (own a 5.1 analog Soundsystem)
3. Set in Midi-Audio Setup the 64ch Device as Standart Audio and Message device.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Just let Itunes Play some music and a every few minutes there is coming a
extremly loud buzz .
To select again the out device in soundflowerbed helps for a few
seconds/minutes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Soundflower 1.6.6b on MAC osx 10.8.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Yesterdy after the installation it works great without the problem.
Just installed after soundflower Xcode.

Some additional notice:
1. Set both Pipes 2ch and 64ch will work longer.
2. After the buzz is starting it will help to select the 64ch device again on
the output device.
3. But don't select the 2ch output device, here will come out the buzz as loud
as the volume of the speaker is set. ( The mac sound volume is not used.)

I searched for hours trying to find a solution to this issue. A friend
suggested an idea that he had been shown. Setup soundflower as a midi
simultaneously with your regular output. Therefore instead of routing through
soundflower for your output (which seems to cause the issue), it routes each as
their own output. So far seems to be working on my recording meters without the
overdrive static. Here is the how-to on this.

he-systems-audio-output-then-we-cant-hear-it

Also, if you are looking for more control I found software from Prosoft that
allows for audio adjustment using hear or individual app volume control through
hear or soundbunny.

Hope this helps everyone!

if you use this solution will not need soundflower.
The main reason for soundflower to use is that it is possible to use the normal
vol+ and vol- keys on the keyboard.
