Overzealous restriction of appointment timings #8

Open bwangpj opened 8 months ago

bwangpj commented 8 months ago

Currently, the appointment timing is restricted to 9am - 5pm inclusive.

Clinics which operate beyond this hour (e.g. 24-hour clinics, emergency clinics), or even just clinics which operate slightly past this hour, e.g. many if not all GP clinics operate at night; will find it very hard (or almost impossible) to use the product with such a restriction.

Team's Response

Thanks for your insight! I think you may have mistaken large governmental polyclinics with an Accident & Emergency (AnE) to the neighbourhood hdb clinics that we are targeting. I assume you would agree that these neighbourhood clinics do not open 24/7, but instead operate on a rough 9-5 basis. If so, I do not believe that they would find it very hard (or almost impossible) to use our product.

Additionally, we have also mentioned something similar in our planned enhancements, as seen below.

 Issue response

Team chose [response.Rejected]

Reason for disagreement: Do not understand the team's response; it is precisely the "large governmental polyclinics" (not the team's target user, as they mention) that could possibly have appointments from 9-5, whereas for the "neighbourhood hdb clinics that [the team] are targeting", most if not all open at least at night, i.e. beyond 5pm, and in fact probably see many of their neighbourhood patients at night.

The cited planned enhancement is irrelevant.

## Issue severity Team chose [`severity.Low`] Originally [`severity.Medium`] - [x] I disagree **Reason for disagreement:** The "neighbourhood hdb clinics that [the team] are targeting" will not be able to schedule any appointments at night.
