I have downloaded the master, but the issue is still there.
Would you be able to open the developer console in your browser and tell me what the javascript errors are? Here are the Firefox directions: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Debugger/How_to/Open_the_debugger After the console is open navigate to the admin screen, click to generate the error, then look for error messages in the console.

I can not see any errors in the console, see screenshot..
If you have the slideshow module enabled try disabling that. It's outdated, has javascript problems, and has been known to break other sections of the gallery.

Actually, sorry I found it and it was active (I was diverted by the Italian translation). Anyway, I disabled it but I still have the same effect.
