Don't setup a repo, just submit to mvncentral (like i did in 
http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.mysimpatico/sqlwrapper)

Any chance of this ever happening?  It's a bit annoying to have such a thing 
and not be able to acquire it by Maven :)

Just an FYI. https://github.com/kohsuke/metainf-services does the same thing 
and it's in maven central.
