As mentioned in https://github.com/openjournals/joss-reviews/issues/5375#issuecomment-1663427140 this is the recommendations on the paper that address minor typos, formatting, and missing DOIs. If there are questions on this please do not hesitate to ask — these are not mandates, they are suggestions.
fix typo: 'specie' -> 'species'
Add periods to ends of figure captions.
Use the same case of x in Figure 2 and in Figure 2 caption.

Capitalize Wikipedia.
Remove unneeded commas.
Simplify punctuation by removing semicolons if uneeded.
Add missing DOI
Format all software names the same way.
