Window Management: 'ghost' columns #222

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open any two windows and place one in the second column (by moving it right,
not by moving the other left) (if unable to reproduce, try with sakura, gvim,
xev, or xterm)
2. Close the window in the first column. The second-column window should now
fill the whole screen (as expected)
3. Move the remaining window to the floating layer and back to the managed
layer. It should now be back in its position in the second column, with empty
space where the first-column window was after step 1

What is the expected result? What do you see instead?
Expected: The remaining window fills the entire screen, as after step 2
Actual: The remaining window acts as if the first-column window that was closed
in step 2 were still there, and only occupies the right portion of the screen

What version of the product are you using (wmii -v)? On what operating
system (uname -a)?
