But I mostly see black boxes also.

It seems to be the about:newtab page when restored from a crash, but black boxes when the pref is set to "remember tabs and windows from last time"
When a tab isn't loaded (which happens all the time during session restore), tab center shows a black frame in the previews. It would be great if we could have something nicer looking in there, like a wireframe layout of a web page or a tab symbol or even just the primary color from the favicon. @shorlander, any thoughts?
