I'm also getting the below which I'm not sure has anything to do with it:

[iHost] is not supported, do create a GitHub issue with the following info: [204] {"bindInfos":{"alexa":["8c46bc15-a585-4e4a-a310-9c842059220c_26ca1996a20e8bd63617ab272d4eeede1d2d8e32"]},"rooted":false,"version":8,"fwVersion":"1.12.0","staMac":"d0:27:03:4f:4b:ac","otaState":"idle","ip":"192.168.0.81","volume":50,"sledOnline":"on","maskrom":false}.

Edit, sorry, I realise you are requesting support for the smate2 rather than the ihost.

are there any other logs about the smate2?

Hi, I use it as a light switch to control a light. Can be used in the same way as a MINIR4.

Hi @wrcaston84 https://github.com/wrcaston84

There have been a few requests for support for this device, but im unsure what can actually be controlled?

  • which homekit accessory type could be used in the home app?
  • is anything controllable?
  • or some sensor would be better?
