What issue do you have? Please be as thorough and explicit as possible.

• I am encountering an issue where Homebridge cannot check for updates.
• Receiving the error:

• Failed to check registry.npmjs.org for updates and [DreamView T1] not using AWS connection as not connected to AWS. [9/18/2023, 10:41:23 PM] [Govee] [DreamView T1] could not be updated as no connection method available, see https://shorturl.at/eCN04 for more info at file:///usr/local/lib/node_modules/homebridge-govee/lib/platform.js:1751:13.

Homebridge 1.6.1

• Which platform do you run Homebridge/HOOBS on (e.g. Raspberry Pi/Windows/HOOBS Box)? Please also mention your version of Node.js/NPM if known.

Node 18.16.1 NPM 9.5.1

• Which version of this plugin (homebridge-govee) do you have? Has the issue started since upgrading from a previous version?

The plugin "homebridge-govee" requires Node.js version of ^16.20.2 || ^18.17.1 || ^20.5.1 which does not satisfy the current Node.js version of v18.16.1. You may need to upgrade your installation of Node.js - see https://homebridge.io/w/JTKEF

Updated to Node.js 18.17.1 seems to have resolved the issue
