Not sure if there is any breaking changes that would impact it. Also 5 is likely coming soon given it's recent release in js so you may want to hold off until that lands in dart

Thanks for the poke. I wouldn't expect breaking changes. I'll publish a new release when the next Polymer update is available. In the meantime you can use dependency_overrides as a workaround. I assume you know, but just in case someone who doen't know stumbles upon this issue.
