Adapting toolbar to use as a kneeboard?

Hi Maximum, as skydemon no longer works, I tried the adapt the toolbar to a kneeboard by replacing the example URL with a file:// link where I'd compiled some test, a a few pictures (skyvector FP and airport plates) - code snippet below.

Unfortunately I get a blank window. Can you help getting this work?

I made some further progress by changing CustomPanel.html to directly include the content. however, I can't use img tags directly in the usual fashion by linking to a file stored in the local system. That may be because I haven't figured out which path to use. Any suggestions are welcomed

It does work when I embed the image directly as the screenshot below shows. Unfortunately that is not a very practical solution
