[solved] Installation on Xubuntu doesn't work #10

The directory ~/.local/share/applications does not exist, and even if created manually, the system does not search here for .desktop files So the installation in itself works, but the application will not run when launched.

Xubuntu needs like ubuntu this dependence (for the icon in systray):

sudo apt install gir1.2-appindicator3-0.1

And you need to create manually the directory ~/.local/share/applications before running the installer. (this part will be definitely solved with the next version of geninstaller)
