If it's txt why not use notepad?
Because the build-in notepad on Windows 10 sucks and I'm not planning on upgrading to Windows 11 at the moment. I could use something like Notepad++ but the reason I wanted to use Typedown instead, is that I often write my study notes in Markdown. Most of my textfiles have the file extension .txt instead of .md. I tried using something like Obsidian but I am forced to create a vault (something like a workspace folder) every time, even if it's only one file that I want to view or edit. There are surprisingly not many good alternatives but I think yours is really good.
It seems to me that my feature request has been already implemented, since the current version of Typedown on the Microsoft Store does support .txt files and I'm thankful for that ))
This is a very minor thing, but I'd like to see .txt added as a supported file extension, so I can set Typedown as my default program for .txt files.
I really like this editor, keep it up :)
