In jobs, store more info:

-tag <tell my life>
[ ] expected degree of parallelism
-j <num>

join-locke -j 15 -- make benchmark
Maybe the -j <num> option could go with a second tool. This tool would basically be a specialized xargs but with some parallelism, and accept -j.
