trying to build on Windows/Android

Hey @c-mendoza , I am very newbie on flutter and Android, but the bundled examples on the installed flutter are working fine. For example, the hello_world project works fine on the same system like that:

But when running this main repo cloned I am getting errors: (the only difference is that I am not adding the device id bc it seems auto-detected..)

Do you think could be related to my newer than yours flutter version? Something related to the Android Studio/SDK/NDk (not the last maybe..) that I am using for OF? Any idea of how to start checking from?

Yes, newer versions of Flutter removed certain properties from TextTheme, so that needs to be updated. You could try downgrading Flutter for the moment.

It is going to take more time than I was expecting to fix all the deprecations, but in the meantime I pushed a new branch that compiles and runs. The color scheme is going to be all wrong, but at least you get something that works.

Make sure to do pub upgrade, otherwise you'll run into different compilation errors.

I just updated the Flutter git repo to the current date stable, with your new branch too, and it works.

EDIT: Btw, it worked on my mobile device too.

~~PS: Do you recommend or do you think can be easy to learn Flutter to a newbie in mobile development? I have seen the very extended use of js React/React Native and Threejs/Fiber these days... Maybe not only to be an alternative to OF gfx but maybe just to extend a desktop OF app with an external app with a custom GUI mobile/touch control... Why do you decide to use Flutter vs others?~~
