Hi EODC (@sophieherrmann, @sreimond-eodc, Christoph, @tclark-eodc and Luca) and SURF (@oonkjbr, @venekamp, Natalie), cc @cchatzikyriakou @sebastian-luna-valero

@sperna has registered a VO for this use case: #1

Could you perhaps support her in setting up and accessing compute resources so she can start working towards deploying her use case?

Hi @backeb , From SURF we will be happy to support this. I think we have a use case meeting planned on 15/6. Will it be ok to have the onboarding discussion during that meeting, or would you like for this to start this before? I think it would be good to discuss whether we can follow a similar same setup on both sites for this use cases and whether we want to start before the HPC/HTC federation is fully up and running (which is probably fine to do, we just need to make sure we do the accounting and access correctly from a c-scale project pov). best regards, Raymond

At last week's meeting we confirmed that for this use case we need

  1. Access to SURF's HTC
  2. Access to EODC's OpenStack so we can instantiate VMs

I have set up two new tickets to facilitate this:
