We have around 1223 hosts (including PC, Web Server, etc.) in these network. We have the host status data for two weeks.

Now, we would like to understand the overall health status of these hosts. For example, are they all healthy in the beginning, and then become unhealthy starting from certain time?

I have created a simple time line graph which shows that at certain time period, there are much more unhealthy hosts. Why? Is it because they are infected? Also, are there better ways to show the overall health status of these hosts?

SInce some attention has been paid to the hosts, the servers seems to deserve some work.

I will take care of the 15 servers. “擒贼先擒王”, so maybe something new would appear and different hypothesis somehow could be proposed.

Good try!

A quick reminder: we should have critical thinking. Whenever we have a hypothesis, we should think about it may be false and there may be an alternative one. Since I mentioned an example of starting with servers, it could be misleading. JUST BE CAREFUL!

An interesting discovery:

Almost all unhealthy hosts are in site 1. So we could focus our attention to it.
