Describe the solution you'd like An option to set the date format in a text field. Formatting codes could be taken from: https://help.gnome.org/users/gthumb/unstable/gthumb-date-formats.html
Describe alternatives you've considered https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/4085/big-sur-status-area/ provides such an option but is otherwise not what I would like to have on my desktop.
