As part of the coming shutdown all existing nodes will get some basic CentOS 6.X updates.
This is being done to match existing CBIO clusters going forward and the hal cluster will tie to a shared repo with those clusters.
While I do not expect any issues as most items used on Hal are source builds and via modules I am offering a preview of a node I've offlined to work out a few more items before the shutdown.
If you ssh to gpu-3-9 and run your item and encounter any issues please advise here.
Note clearly the nvidia driver version is NOT changed and there are no plans to do so during this shutdown.
