In order to facilitate un-mounting of GPFS due to all the open file handles the login node known to most as hal.cbio.mskcc.org will be rebooted Sunday morning as the quickest path to that outcome.

Any items in screens or tmux will be exited. So you are advised to gracefully shutdown and exit such items Saturday evening or sooner. Logins will be disabled until the shutdown is completed.
