Improving data discovery #134

Finding data in cBioPortal has become more and more challenging with the rapidly increasing amount of data. Below, I am trying to capture the core data discovery abilities that we should support. We already support many of them, e.g. one can load all samples in the portal and filter from there, but there is a lot of room we can improve for data discovery. E.g. if would be very useful if we can use the quick search tool to search clinical data, e.g. when one types "MSI", we can allow them to load all samples with an "MSI*" clinical attribute, or when one types "MSI-H", we can allow them to load all samples with MSK status of "MSI-H".

Definitely support these ideas! I was just going to suggest to implement some kind of 'search projects with survival data' function, or to incorporate it as a separate column on the 'Data Sets' page. Using the search bar on the homepage entering the term 'survival' results only in 3 hits ... and I am sure there's many more data sets in cBioPortal that have survival data associated!
