Feature Request: Span 2 monitors with 1 video #133

I have 2 monitors and it looks weird with two different videos running at the same time. I think it will look much better if it is 1 video spanning two screen, this gives a feeling of a wide window looking into the scene. Please make that happen! :-)

+1 on this, But - support more than 2 monitors please! I have 3 monitors and having one video span them would be great. Right now having the same video play on all three is just weird (especially as they have different aspect ratios), and having three different videos is a bit distracting, so.... Thanks a bunch!

Good news: this was merged in #180. (@cDima can comment on release time)

Settings looks like this:

And a couple samples of it in action:

Top picture is 2x 1920x1080 monitors; Bottom is 2x 1920x1200 monitors and the laptop display is 4k running at 1920x1080.

Some videos work better than others depending on your monitor layout, especially with eg 3 monitors side-by-side where it really zooms in across the center of the video, but it generally just looks pretty cool. I got it setup in my office today and I've already had a few people comment about it.

thank you that looks awesome! you are the man! Should I wait for release 6.2 to come out?

I've added Greg as a collaborator on the repo, I believe that gives him access to upload a compiled release for everyone. :)

@cDima Can you give me access to the AppVeyor project too, or just check in the appveyor.yml? Then we can just modify it to include artifacts and it can create (potential) release zips on every build.

Beautiful addition, any news on that? @gregmac @cDima

This is a great addition and very much appreciated.

Is there a compiled release that includes this option?
