When I get the preview for the Aerial screensaver, I get a black screen and nothing shows up. The screen just goes black when the screensaver gets activated... any help?

Same here, has been like this for a while now. Videos are cached and play fine in media player, but the screensaver does nothing. Single monitor, GTX1070/i7-7820HK/16GB RAM, Win10 1803.

Same problem here, when i run Aerial.exe or test preview, there is no result. My network work good, no proxy, no firewall. Single monitor, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U/8GB RAM, Win10 1709

Hi folks,

first things first @cDima great screen saver, been using it for about a year. Just recently I got a new Win10 version and sadly it stopped working for me. Have the same/similar issues as mentioned above: In screen saver settings pressing the preview button the cursor indicates some loading and then nothing happens. Same applies to the settings button. The preview on the little screen saver settings screen is black at first and after pressing settings or preview turns into my current desktop. Sometimes pressing preview or settings just causes the screen saver settings to crash...

So, besides having a quite good internet connectivity I'm running Win10 Home V1809 B17763.55, the latest .NET Framework 4.7 (at least this is what the installer is telling me), I have installed the latest version of Media Player even with feature pack (and activated it in turn windows features on/off), downloaded the latest version of Aerial and even tried some other Aerial software that works fine (but yours has less bugs that's why I want to use yours!).

All in all I've been messing around with this for weeks and therefore decided to post the problem here. Since I'm not the only one with this problem I (and everyone else here I guess) would be very happy about some help. Thanks in advance!

This is a somewhat dead issue, but I was having the same issue and it was caused by which graphics card I used as my system default. When I selected my NVIDIA GeForce MX150 I would get a black screen and then the screensaver would end, but when I changed to system defaults it would use my INTEL UHD Graphics 620 and run fine
