The metadata parsing fuctions like "evaluate_polarity" check a literal match in the metadata dict. Change to substring match of IMS acession. Ee.g. search not for "[MS:1000129] spectrum1.negative scan", but for substrings in keys "[MS:1000129]" for negative scans.
