Do you think you can trim the list of the associated papers a bit? I'd suggest probably keeping just the earliest and a recent one. Other datasets also have many papers associated with them (e.g., HCP, ADNI), but I want to keep the list relatively concise.

If someone is to use the dataset I agree that they should probably refer to more than just what you list here, the references here are more of 'where to start'.

I don't mind. If you feel like space is limited just remove all of them. The references listed are merely data descriptors for portions of the dataset. There is no single reference describing "the dataset". None of the references are studies using these data.
