Cant Press Start Button On Service Inspector Or Port Scan #452

Dear Tux Mind, I love your app, CSploit, and I love that MSF is fixed, but whenever I click on a computer/device on the network, and clock Service Inspector, it shows "No Information," as expected, but when i click on the Blue start button.......... nothing. Its like it isn't there. Same with the Port Scanner, and this is a shame because i cant use MSF without first using service inspect.

The Issues Daemon and Dtart Daemon shows i am affected by #1 .

Here is my CsploitD.log >>: http://pastebin.com/56qhKptJ

 Thanks!

@Sonicmaster13 In every issue you create you gotta let us know what version you're using-- the blue start button issue-- which doesn't affect most people for some reason (?)-- may have been fixed (we hope) with this commit 4 days ago:

https://github.com/cSploit/android/commit/a1f1d20e182b87953f36c409559ec0c3f0c502ba

If you are using a very recent nightly and STILL having the issue, then it hasn't been actually fixed and it's still an issue. If you're using a version from before this was fixed, then get the latest and see if it fixes it for you.

Also-- you're the first to say that the port scanner button is also not working. Is this correct? Finally, what version of Android are you using?

Thanks

I've just tested it on the nightly and it works fine. However, on the first try the button didn't work. The problem seems to not be related with the click event on itself, but on spawning the command.

gustavo-iniguez-goya commented 8 years ago

@Sonicmaster13 , please, try out the nightly (20/10/2015) and let us know if it is solved.

Sonicmaster13 commented 8 years ago

Ok, I Will do Thanks!

Sonicmaster13 commented 8 years ago

So, i installed the latest Nightly build and now i get "Cannot Start Process....." Any other suggustions?

gustavo-iniguez-goya commented 8 years ago

@Sonicmaster13 , the changes I added yesterday were not related in any way with that message. I've just tested today nightly and it works fine for me. silly question, do you have the core tools installed?

btw, have in account that if you have an old mobile (1 core/512mb in my case) + you are on a big network (~254 hosts) + you have auto portscan enabled, the button will take ~4-10 secs to display activity/change the state.

In any case, could you post logs when the problem happens? thank you!

Sonicmaster13 commented 8 years ago

Ok, Sure! I am on my own personal WiFi with only 5 others connected, my family, and my phone is nowhere near only 1 core 512MB of RAM/Memory(4 cores overclocked to forcibly run at 1.9GHZ all the time with 1 GIG of Memory) And of course i have the core tools installed :D FYI I did try a Full uninstall and reinstall and that did not seem to work :/

This is the new CsploitD.log>>: http://pastebin.com/k8Ra7WuV

Thanks in advance!

sorry @Sonicmaster13 , I meant that in this case we need the full logcat output, not only the csploitd.log -.-'

tux-mind commented 8 years ago

@Sonicmaster13 @gainan were right, it seems that the app disconnects from the core, probably a Java bug or unexpected behaviour.

please share your logcat with us
