DaddyLive only showing 184 channels

I just install cabernet and enabled the daddyLive plugin and the TV Guide plugin. I updated the channel list and EPG a few times but DaddyLive only shows 184 channels. It just shows me channels from A-D. Is there anything I need to do to make it show the rest of the channels?

Where do you see the 184 channels? I assume it's in the channel editor with that number of channels. If not, please provide the number of channels listed in the channel editor.

Yes, the channel editor. I also have it connected to Plex and it shows the same amount on plex.

Your issue is possibly caused by your system. To determine the issue, you will need to turn on logging at the DEBUG level, then run the Channel update task for DL. The log will show the list of channels it found and added. Provide the log portion that shows this.

Also, indicate if you turned on the EPG plugin in DL.

I have debug on but can't figure out how to see the log file. Can't find it I.the app config folder. Also I have all the pluins enabled except XUMO.

There are 2 log files. The default is the STDOUT log file and is dependent on the system and install of the service. As an example, on Linux, it would be in the syslog file. The other log is in the data/log/ folder, but by default is disabled. It sometimes does not log detailed exceptions, but is an easy way to access a log and not have other apps in it. If you are having an issue with finding a log, recommend turning on the file log in data/log and use it.

Yes all the plugins are enabled including the EPG plugin. My data folder is empty even though I enabled debug on System Log Handler and File Log Handler. This is what I get on the Docker container log:

Also not sure if is connected but on the main screen on Caberner on Tuner Status there's no tuner active.

As for active tuners, you have none playing, so there are none.

Finally, you say nothing is in the data folder. This is probably because you are looking in the wrong location. Go to settings > Internal > Paths. It will indicate where the data folder is located in the docker container.

To "turned on the EPG plugin in DL" go to settings > Stream Providers > DaddyLive and look at the "EPG Plugin to Use" setting. If it is None, you are NOT using any EPGs.

This fixed the issue. I just had to wait a long time.

I am still unable to play anything though. When I try to play a channel on Plex I get the error "Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna." and no matter wehat I try to play the Tuner is never active on the home screen.

First, install VLC on windows and load the channel.m3u file you get from cabernet into that. Then try to play the channels there. It will determine if its a plex issue. If its a cabernet issue, you will need to provide a log of the stream. Not sure how you did the docker container, but it needs port 5004 to stream.

I just looked and found that Deluge was using port 5004 for some reason, so I removed it from Deluge. Sadly I am still unable to play it on VLC and Plex. on VLC I get the error "Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://10.2.112.160:5004/DaddyLive/watch/52'. Check the log for details." but for some reason I dont have anything on my data folder so can't see the log. And on Plex I get the error "Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna.". I updated the channels again and EPG but still can't stream anything.

Sounds like your docker container is blocking 5004. Go to browser and type location http://10.2.112.160:5004/ If you get "501 - Not Implemented" then your port is open. If not, then docker is your issue.

oh, make sure the ip address is correct. I remember that you also need to update the "plex_docker_ip" with your real ip to get it to work. It should be the same as the one you use for 6077. See the tool tip for "plex_docker_ip" which states the same thing.

I am getting a "The connection has timed out" error. I'll spend some time today trying to figure out why docker would be doing that.

I changed the plex_docker_ip for my IP, now when I go to the address I get the message 501 - Not Implemented

I just opened the channel.m3u with notepad and all the channels have the wrong ip. I changed one of them to my IP and its streaming. So gotta see how to change the IPs on all the channels on the m3u file.

I went ahead and did a fresh install and followed your directions and now I am able to play the channels on VLC. Even though I changed plex_docker_ip to my IP I am still unable to play anything on Plex but at least now I know its working, now I gotta play around with Plex and see whats the issue with it. I have noticed that when I search for the local tuner on Plex it finds it with the IP http://0.0.0.0:6077 instead of using the IP I changed it to. Even doing a fresh install and changing the plex_docker_ip before having Plex search for the tuner.
