cloud-init taking an inordinate amount of time on lab 1 #69

When deploying a VM to lab 1, cloud-init routines that download resources from the Internet take an extraordinary amount of time basically causing this pod to be useless. This may be due to an MTU setting issue; however, the problem has not been observed on lab 3 which is running a later version like 1.

Same issue observed on the latest installation attempt

This was an issue with Huge pages not being enabled on the switch.
