Transparent Security is a solution for identify the source devices of a DDoS attack and mitigates the attack in the customer premises or the access network. This solution leverages a P4 based programmable data plane for add in-band network telemetry (INT) for device identification and in-band mitigation.
Creates a flag to determine the drop count that will be added to the drop report.
For HCP, the drop count will be the number of packets dropped since the last drop report that was sent to the AE.
For simpleAE, the drop count will be the total number of packets dropped by the table entry match(direct_counter value).
Existing tests will not break with this change.
