Describe the bug

HTML ops don't seem to be visible in external canvases made with the ExternalCanvas op

How To Reproduce Press the open external canvas trigger and observe the absence of HTML ops

Platform Chrome Version 126.0.6478.127 (Official Build) (64-bit) on win 11

Possibly related: HTML ops don't appear in patch thumbnails when you use the manual thumbnail capture feature in patch settings.
